Queen Mary University of London invites applications for a 12-month, part-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the ERC-funded DigiWeB project. Qualifications

• PhD (or close to completion) in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science or statistics.
• Strong analytical and programming skills.
• Experience with algorithmic auditing, explainable AI (XAI) and data governance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct computational research on welfare-AI systems across the UK, Netherlands and Sweden.
• Perform algorithmic auditing and XAI analysis; map data flows and ensure reproducibility and secure data management.
• Collaborate across disciplines and contribute to high-quality project outputs with DERI and partner teams.
