Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver for a seasonal role in NG17. You will sort, prepare and deliver mail and parcels, working 5 days out of 7 from 08:30 to 14:30. The role is outdoors, customers rely on you, and you’ll be the face of the local community.

The position requires a Full UK Manual Driving Licence (0–6 points), fitness for outdoor work, and a friendly, reliable approach. Seasonal with potential extension beyond Christmas Eve.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence with 0–6 points.
• Physically fit for outdoor delivery in all weather.
• Excellent customer service and reliability.
• Punctual, organized and self-motivated.
• No criminal record.

What You Will Do

• Sort and prepare mail and parcels in the delivery office for your route.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and/or using a Royal Mail vehicle.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to local homes and businesses.
• Work independently while managing your time effectively outdoors.

What We Are Looking For

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (with no more than 6 penalty points and held for at least 12 months)
• Physically fit and happy to walk outdoor routes in all kinds of British weather.
• Great customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
• No Criminal Record.
