Job summary

Royal Mail in Invermoriston is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels, working outdoors in all weather. You will sort items, drive a Royal Mail van, and walk routes on a rotating schedule that includes weekends.

Training is provided, and you will be supported with a uniform and the iconic red van. The role requires a full manual UK driving licence with up to six penalty points, physical fitness for long walks and lifting mailbags, and a customer-focused,

Working hours: 07:00 hours per week - Saturday only - 08.20am/15.20pm*

About You

We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
