Royal Mail Group in Crawley is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join our delivery team at Crawley Delivery Office. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, build relationships with customers, and work outdoors in all weather.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with rotating shifts from 7:00-15:00 or 13:00-19:30 and some weekend work. You’ll receive full training, a uniform, and a trusted red van.

Qualifikationen

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service

Job type: Permanent contract

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 37.00hours per week - working 5days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 7:00-15:00 or 13:00-19:30.
