Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Gloucester for Royal Mail. Based at a local delivery office, the role is 37 hours weekly on a temporary contract, with shifts 7:30am–3pm, Monday to Friday and weekend availability required.

Pay is £13.69 per hour. Responsibilities include sorting and loading mail, using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture, and delivering by foot or vehicle.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence (held for at least 6 months).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle.
• Walk up to eight miles per day.
• Lift mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg.
