Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers for Chippenham. Start date is immediate for a temporary contract, working 30 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

Shift runs 1pm–7pm from the local delivery office, delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle. Ideal candidates have a full UK manual licence (preferably clean) and can handle outdoor work in all weather, with good time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Must have held licence for 6 months.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
