Job summary

Pertemps, proudly supporting Royal Mail, in Cardiff is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver for a full-time temporary role. Based at a local delivery office, you will sort and load mail before heading out to deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, up to eight miles per day. The shift runs 30 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 8pm, with weekend availability required. A full UK driving licence is preferred, and you must be reliable and physically fit.

Based at a local delivery office, the successful candidate sorts and loads mail before heading out on foot or by vehicle, covering up to eight miles each day. Duties include using a handheld device for signature capture and navigation, plus lifting bags and parcels weighing up to 20kg. The role runs 30 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 8pm, with weekend availability required. Pay is £13.69 per hour. Reliability, physical fitness and a customer-focused approach are essential. A full driving licence may be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
