Job summary

Pertemps in partnership with Royal Mail is seeking Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Brentford on a temporary contract.

You will start from the local delivery office, sort and load deliveries, use handheld device, deliver letters and parcels, walking up to 8 miles daily. Shift 8am-3pm, 37 hours a week, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).

About the Role:

• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
