Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver for Coombs Wood. The role involves starting at the local delivery office, loading your vehicle, and delivering letters and parcels by foot and car.

You’ll use a handheld device for routes and signatures while handling bags and parcels up to 20 kg. The position requires a full UK driving licence (6 points max, clean preferred) and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 6 points; clean preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors through rain, shine, or snow.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Previous Driving/ Delivering experience would great (but isn’t essential!)

Responsibilities

• Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
• On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
• Tech-Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
• Hands-On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (with weekend availability required)
