Royal Mail is recruiting Postal Delivery Drivers for the Manchester area on a temporary/seasonal basis. Earn £13.69 per hour with weekly pay and immediate starts.

Starting each day at the local Delivery Office, you will sort mail, load your vehicle and deliver letters and parcels to homes and businesses while using a handheld PDA. Hours are typically 30–40 per week, with various shift patterns and weekend availability, and full training is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels and mail bags, plus walking up to 20,000 steps per day.

Please note, this is a physically demanding role which involves walking up to 20,000 steps per day, as well as lifting and carrying mail bags and parcels.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
• No more than 6 penalty points

• Strong reliability and time-management skills
• Ability to lift and carry parcels and mail bags
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous delivery experience is beneficial but not essential / Full training provided
