Job summary

As a Postal Delivery Driver in Portsmouth, you will join Pertemps’ team supporting Royal Mail, handling collections and multi-drop deliveries. This temporary position offers £13.69 per hour for 20 hours weekly, scheduled Monday to Friday with weekend availability required, working shifts from 14:30 to 18:30. Your day begins at the local delivery office, sorting and loading mail before setting out. You will navigate routes using a handheld device for signatures, deliver on foot or by vehicle, and may walk up to eight miles daily. Physical fitness is essential, as you will lift mail bags weighing up to 16kg and various parcels. This role suits someone who values independent outdoor work and reliable customer service.
