Job summary

Pertemps Bond, in partnership with Royal Mail, seeks a Postal Delivery Driver for Oxford East. This temporary role starts immediately and involves delivering letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle.

Shifts are 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday with weekend availability. You’ll load deliveries at the local office, use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and lift bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• License held for at least 6 months.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
