Overview

Location: Norwood

Shift: 09:30am - 15:30pm

Hourly Rate: £15.50 (additional rate for overtime)

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for long-term assignment postal and delivery driver positions. If you have a passion for community service and enjoy being on the move, this is a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Start the day in the local delivery office, loading mail for your route.
• Deliver parcels/mail by foot or in a provided van to complete your round.
• Use a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures and to route the round efficiently.
• Follow the most economical route as determined by the device routing system.

About You

• Upbeat, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Enjoy flexible working patterns and have a strong sense of community.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and stay active as part of the job.
• Some experience in a customer-facing role is ideal.

License and Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required (current UK address).
• Penalty points: no more than six; a clean licence is preferred.
