Job summary

Pertemps Recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Bethnal Green on a temporary basis to support Royal Mail. Start from the local delivery office, sort and load deliveries, then proceed on foot or by vehicle to complete daily routes.

The role rewards customer-focused individuals who enjoy outdoor work in all weather conditions, with a valid UK driving licence and good time management. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred)
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:
