Job Details

• Location: Nationwide opportunities available
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Pay Rate: £13.37 - £16.58 per hour, depending on location.
• Contract: Temporary

Role Overview

As a Royal Mail Postal Delivery Worker, you’ll play a vital role in keeping communities connected. Your day will start at the delivery office, where you’ll:

• Load your vehicle with letters and parcels
• Drive to your designated delivery area
• Complete deliveries on foot, following an efficient route provided via handheld device
• Track deliveries, capture signatures, and provide excellent customer service

This is a physically active delivery role, ideal for those who enjoy being on the move and working independently.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking reliable and motivated postal workers with:

• A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Confidence driving a small van
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Physical fitness: able to lift up to 16kg and walk up to 20,000 steps per day
• Resilience to work in all weather conditions
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery routes
