Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps is working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source Postal Delivery Workers to support their busy operation for the next 6 months at various sites around Wales.

• Location: Various Sites around Wales
• Starts: Differ per site between 08:00 - 14:00
• Shift: 5 days per week, between Monday - Sunday
• Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour PAYE
• Sundays: £14.49 per hour PAYE
• Overtime after 40 hours: £15.68 per hour

About the Postal Delivery Worker role:

You'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle or trolley and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail), then deliver letters and parcels to your local community.

About You:

• The ideal candidate will be upbeat, self-motivated, and comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
• You will be helpful, approachable, and display a strong sense of community as you get to know the people on your round.
• Royal Mail delivers parcels in all weather conditions, so outdoor work is required. You should be relatively fit and healthy due to the walking involved.
• You will be smartly presented, professional, and courteous.

Previous Experience:

• Some experience in a customer-facing or delivery role is preferred but not essential.
• A full DBS security check will be required before starting work.
• Driving licence requirements:
• A full UK manual driving licence in your current UK address.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Endorsements IN/DD/DR/CD are not accepted.
