Job summary

Pertemps, on behalf of Royal Mail, is recruiting a temporary Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver in Blackburn. The role pays £13.69 per hour for 30 hours a week and involves shifts Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

Starting at the local delivery office, you will sort and load deliveries, then use a handheld device for signature capture and navigation. Foot and vehicle delivery covers up to eight miles daily, lifting mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Licence held for at least 6 months.
