Pertemps, supporting Royal Mail, are recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Somerset. This temporary role pays £13.69 per hour and offers 30–40 hours per week.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, with weekend availability, between 8am and 8pm. You will sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office, use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and deliver letters and parcels by foot or vehicle.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

This temporary Postal Delivery Driver role with Pertemps in Taunton supports Royal Mail, paying £13.69 hourly.

Working 30 to 40 hours weekly, shifts fall between 8am and 8pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend availability also needed.

Duties include sorting and loading mail at the local delivery office, using a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and delivering letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily.

Applicants must lift and carry mail bags, work independently outdoors, and show strong customer service skills.

The position begins towards the end of October.
