Job Description:

Reports To: Post Production Traffic/Co-Ordinator will report to Rabble post producer and Mob Producer and in their absence then will report to the Director of Production

Background:Rabble Post is a post facility owned by The Mob Film Company (North) Ltd as part of the 54 group.Rabble provides all post production support and solutions for Mob’s output and externally offers short form post production and audio facilities including ADR & mixing for TV, cinema & radio. Clients are mostly advertising agencies, content production companies and additional ADR audio for drama/features.

54is a global sports and entertainment agency.

As a boutique offering in prestigious offices the setup is more of a creative collective, and as a small team cross working and supporting each other is part of the core of everything we do and should be expected.

Hours:Monday to Friday 0900 – 1800 with 1 hour lunch breaksubject to workload, though the Post Production Traffic/Co-Ordinator should be prepared for communication outside of these hours due to the nature of working in a broadcast & reactive environment.

Excessive hours/days are remunerated with time off in lieu.

4 weeks annual leave + bank holidays.

Job Overview:Accountable for scheduling of Mob/54 post production bookings, traffic and approvals, quoting, booking and arranging all aspects of a post-production per project under the direction of producers. Managing workloads, multitasking, prioritising and planning resources is critical and working with teams to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the very highest standard;working under pressure; during the post process it is imperative to maintain clarity of information and good channels of communication between key areas of the business and with the clientwhen required to ensure we meet or exceed our client’s expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·Schedule, prioritise & schedule resources using company software.

Create client facing production schedules and track them through to delivery

Liaise with Mob & External clients on creating & running schedules & quotes &new editing / post production briefs

Identify potential workload / traffic issues and offer solutions

Book and manage external resources

·Track bookings & invoicing

·Quote as required under direction of Post Producer

·Manage the workflow projects once agreed with Producer

Maintaining excellent attention to detail to ensure all projects run smoothly,

adapting to changes in schedules & budget.

·Set up all jobs in line with company practices.

Use documentation in line with current company processes & software

·Complete Rabble Post Production Agreements or a suitable alternative written

agreement to outline agreed deliverables, schedule, budget and payment

·Identify the resources required for each project and assign these, identifying and

escalating when additional resources are required.

Help grow and maintain the network of freelancers.

Recognise when a project is headed outside agreed upon Scope of Work and

inform the relevant parties prior to this happening.

Attend daily & weekly production meetings

Work closely with accounts to reconcile the company credit cards & expenses

on a monthly basis.

Utilise quiet periods to assist marketing the business or follow up leads with

existing & new clients.

Assist with client attends and general running of post facilities

Development

·Areas for development and training opportunities:

Deputise for and assist Rabble Post Producer with client presentations &

Approvals.

Cover in absence of Rabble Post Producer and where necessary for postproduction Mob Producer

Book/schedule TV station delivery via Peach/Adstream & rotation via Caria

·Handle script clearances for TV/Cinema/Radio

·Project tracking & approval

AI

Technology and Software:

Have a sound working knowledge of all the various roles, functions, capabilities, equipment, and applications within a post production workflow. Must have a knowledge and experience working with offline / online editing processes.

Rabble is Mac & MS office software based, but not a requirement.

Familiarity with workflow and knowledge of software an advantage:

Peach Connect, Clearcast delivery/Adstream, Caria, CAA, Teams, Zoom, Beam.tv, Monday.com, Frameio, Dropbox/Wetransfer, Sharepoint.

  • Be an integral part of big-picture thinking and managing, as well as day-to-day work.
  • Evaluate and implement new and innovative video post-production processes, tools and technologies that enable us to better serve our clients.
  • Be nimble, resourceful and adaptable to ever changing tasks/deadlines.
  • Have an eye for detail and the ability to problem solve.
  • Actively be part of a ‘self-clear’ kitchen and desk policy
  • Ensure business is opened and closed in line with company practices.
  • Be prepared to work past regular hours or occasional weekends due to delivery deadlines and international time zones – renumerated with time in lieu
