Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a night shift team leader in Manchester to supervise a frontline team, ensuring production targets, quality and safety.

You will allocate staff, monitor performance, coach colleagues and ensure safe working practices, reporting to site managers. Full training provided; previous supervisor experience preferred; diverse, inclusive workplace with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience as team leader or supervisor is essential.
• Able to use email and Microsoft Office applications.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team to meet production targets and client requirements.
• Allocate staff across the shift and adjust to changing production needs.
• Monitor production performance and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Provide clear shift handovers and escalate issues to managers.
• Coach and develop team members to maintain competency levels.

About The Company:

• Lead and supervise the team to ensureproduction targets, deadlines and clientrequirements are consistently achieved.
• Allocate staff and resources effectively across theshift, responding to changing productionrequirements and staffing levels
• Monitor production performance and quality,identifying issues and taking prompt action tominimise downtime, waste and errors.
• Ensure all health, safety and company proceduresare followed, including PPE, risk assessments, safeworking practices and reporting of incidents.
• Communicate effectively with managers and otherdepartments, providing clear shift handovers, escalatingissues and supporting smooth production flow..
• Support and develop team members throughcoaching, training, performance feedback andmaintaining required skills and competency levels.

Essential Hiring Criteria(Qualifications, Experience &Skills etc)

• Full right to work in the UK
• Full training will be given for the role however teamleader/supervisor experiences essential

• Basic to intermediate computer skills, with theability to use email, Microsoft Office applications andcompany systems to complete production records,reports, timesheets and other operationaldocumentation.
