About the role:

As a Post Office Counter Clerk, you’ll be responsible for dealing with postal and financial services, handling forms and applications, and managing foreign currencies. This includes the accurate handling of monies and the use of computer systems.

As a valued member of our Post Office team, you will receive full counter training, ongoing training, and support.

Operational hours:
  • Monday – Friday – 09:00am – 17:30pm
  • Saturday - 09:00am – 13:00pm – *Subject to Location*
Responsibilities include:
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Completing and undertaking regular compliance checks.
  • Following all policies, procedures, and cash management protocols.
  • Keeping all areas clean, tidy and adhering to all safety/security policies.
  • Ensuring punctuality and personal appearance standards are in line with the Society’s Uniform policy.
  • Dealing with customer complaints professionally and processing them in line with the Society’s complaints procedure.
  • Ensuring all records are up to date, managing high-volume posting activity, and communicating with multiple clients and vendors.

*Please note, successful candidates will be subject to a P250 (Credit Check)
