Job description

Our Litigation Department is recruiting and offering a unique and exciting opportunity for those seeking to advance their legal careers by joining our MOJ Post Limitation Team (MPL). This is a fee-earning role, and you will be responsible for managing your own caseload.

The MPL Team acts on behalf of clients claiming personal injury and financial losses arising from road traffic accidents. The successful candidate will handle a caseload of litigated claims and always act in the best interests of their clients, proactively advancing cases toward positive outcomes. Your caseload will include liability-admitted cases valued between £5,000.00 and £25,000.00.

You will be responsible for providing excellent client care and ensuring all aspects of injuries and losses are thoroughly explored and advanced. Injuries may range from general orthopedic injuries to complex investigations and medical reports; often, multiple medical experts will be involved. Investigations into financial losses may require detailed, specialist advice, covering areas such as lost earnings, self-employed losses, ongoing treatment, or care needs. Exceptional client care skills are highly desirable.

While previous litigation experience is desirable, it is not essential. You will have opportunities to develop through close collaboration with experienced fee earners, mentoring, and buddy schemes.
