About the role

The main purpose of the Post Graduate Teaching Assistant role within the Centre for Doctoral Education is to facilitate sessions for doctoral students that form part of the IOE’s research training programme. This includes the IOE MPhil/PhD Core Course, the post-upgrade workshop, Qualitative Data Analysis, Quantitative Data Analysis Courses, the IOE Doctoral Community student-led engagement scheme, IOE CDE Poster Conference, Summer School, Conference, and 3 Minute Thesis Competition.

These posts are available from 22nd September to 31st July and are open to current UCL students only.

About you

You will have a Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field and be working towards a PhD in social sciences. After completing your PhD, you will no longer be eligible for this PGTA scheme.

You should have an interest in methodological issues and be able to provide constructive feedback on student proposals.
