The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Post-doctoral Research Associate to join the Department of Clinical Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an Innovate UK-funded research programme aimed at developing a pre-clinical pipeline for vaccine evaluation. The research will leverage advanced human tissue models to investigate immune responses and evaluate efficacy against respiratory viral pathogens, with a primary focus on influenza. The successful candidate will work at the forefront of translational immunology, helping to bridge the gap between fundamental research and real-world vaccine development. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to translational research with significant potential for public health impact. You will be part of a vibrant, interdisciplinary team, working at the interface of academia and industry.
