Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Exercise Physiology to advance clinical trials and high-impact research. The role runs within the School of Health Sciences, Kensington Campus, with hybrid work arrangement and mandatory on-site presence.

The successful candidate will lead research projects, develop an independent program, and pursue competitive funding while contributing to teaching and HDR supervision.

Qualifications

PhD in physiology, exercise physiology, cardiovascular science, biomedical science or related discipline.
Expertise in integrative or cardiovascular physiology techniques in humans.
Strong track record of high-quality research outputs and leadership.
Interest in women's cardiovascular health and sex/gender equity.
Experience in teaching, tutoring or HDR supervision.
Significant involvement with the profession or industry.

Responsibilities

Deliver clinical trials and related research studies.
Develop an independent research program within a multidisciplinary team.
Lead scholarly outputs and pursue competitive funding.
Contribute to teaching and supervision activities.
