Job description

There is currently a vacancy for a post-completion Paralegal to join our successful Real Estate Finance team. In this role, you will support the post-completion team and assist fee earners with Land Registry enquiries.

Please note that the successful candidate is required to be in the office 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a post-completion team responsible for:

  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
  • Raising queries with Land Registry on behalf of Fee Earners
  • Dealing with Land Registry requisitions
  • Sending completion of registrations for approval
  • Registering charges and debentures at Companies House
  • Updating expiry dates in a tracker and monitoring OS1 expiry dates
  • Maintaining a post-completion tracker
  • Communicating with solicitors/lenders
  • Submitting deeds to lenders, clients, and storage
Experience and Knowledge
  • Undergraduate law degree (2:1)
  • Experience in residential conveyancing (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Customer service or administration experience (advantageous)
  • Reliable
