An established team is seeking an Education Advocate to support care-experienced young people in Bristol. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality personal education plans and successful educational outcomes. You'll work closely with various stakeholders, including social workers and education providers, to implement educational strategies and support young people's needs. Type: Permanent, Part-Time (0.6 FTE), pro-rata, working term-time only plus 5 days (22.2 hours per week)
The HOPE Virtual School is pleased to announce a recruitment opportunity for an Education Advocate (Post 16).
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an established team and contribute to the virtual school's objectives in securing the best provision and educational outcomes for children in care. You will collaborate with young people, carers, social workers, education settings, and other professionals to ensure each child has a high-quality personal education plan that supports their education and training.
You will work closely with multi-agency partners and education providers to ensure the implementation of the educational plans and support care-experienced young people across all aspects of their education.
If you have experience working with young people in education, understand the challenges faced by children in care, and have experience in planning for and achieving success, we welcome your application.
