Cotham School is hiring a Post 16 Academic Mentor and Librarian, responsible for managing the library and providing academic support to students. This role focuses on enhancing student learning experiences beyond the standard curriculum, with responsibilities that include organizing super curricular activities and developing study skills through workshops. Grade: G9 - starting salary £30,559 per annum pro rata. Actual salary £26,389 (pay award pending 3.2%)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (term time only + 2 weeks)
Temporary contract from 01.09.2025 - 17.07.2026.
Cotham School, a successful, vibrant and diverse 11-18 comprehensive school, wishes to appoint an experienced Post 16 Academic Mentor and Librarian.
Post 16 Academic Mentor and Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organising the library space to ensure it is a welcoming and resourceful environment for students. Your role will include overseeing super curricular activities that enhance students' learning experiences beyond the standard curriculum. You will work one-on-one with students to provide personalized academic support and mentorship. Additionally, you will deliver workshops focused on developing study skills, helping students to improve their academic performance and achieve their educational goals.
