Home, a place where you belong

Join us in this rewarding role as our Lead Support Worker (internally known as Positive Behavioural Support Team Leader). You will manage our team to provide person-centred, strengths-based support to our customer (referred to as J), helping them reach their full potential. J has complex needs, including a learning disability and autism. He is a super intelligent, gentle, and calm young man who requires a dedicated and positive team to support his development. J experiences sensory processing difficulties, is hypersensitive to sound, and uses ear defenders. When stressed or anxious, he may display challenging behaviors, and it is essential to get to know him well, providing care, understanding, reassurance, and positivity. Your role will help J overcome barriers, leading a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Typical day as our PBS Team Leader

  1. Helping J overcome barriers and supporting him to lead a fulfilling life and achieve his aspirations.
  2. Recognising his strengths and abilities, supporting him to take small steps at his own pace.
  3. Supporting J using the Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion through person-centred support.
  4. Monitoring his mental and physical health to identify any deterioration and managing risks positively.
  5. Motivating, guiding, coaching, and supporting your team to work effectively with our customers.
