Job summary

Liaise, a leading provider of specialist support for adults with complex learning disabilities, seeks a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner for our Chingford service. You will work with colleagues to help people supported develop relationships, skills and independence, while improving STOMP scores and reducing restrictive practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Positive Behaviour Support or working toward it.
• Experience with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Positive Behaviour Practitioner.
• Understand Mental Capacity Act (2005) and DoLS.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based PBS and training to staff.
• Complete behaviour assessment tools and write reports.
• Develop plans to improve wellbeing and independence.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to implement improvements.
• Support service teams to deliver continuing education and development.
