Job Description:
Domus has an exciting opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a growing provider of care and support for adults with Learning Disabilities.
Based in Manchester, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple residential services to ensure high-quality outcomes for the people supported.
Your role will involve developing and delivering Behaviour and PROACT-SCIPr-UK training to enhance the confidence and competence of co-workers in supporting individuals.
We seek someone who can work collaboratively with colleagues, including key workers, to help individuals explore and realize their potential, develop relationships, skills, and independence, and pursue various opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practice leadership, supporting support staff through training, modelling, and guidance.
- Maintain your professional development, keeping your practice and knowledge at the forefront of PBS.
- Participate in PBS Network meetings and contribute to training and development activities.
- Undertake functional assessments, transition planning, support, and service debriefs as required.
- Work effectively with operational colleagues to support implementation and change within services and the wider group.
- Ensure clear, respectful, and professional communication with supported individuals, families, professionals, and colleagues.
- Provide routine and ad hoc incident analyses.
- Develop and deliver Behaviour and PROACT-SCIPr-UK training to support staff.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis to support service improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support (e.g., BSc, MSc, MA, or equivalent).
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Positive Behaviour Practitioner.
- Qualified or willing to work towards Instructor Level of PROACT-SCIPr-UK.
- Understanding of relevant legal frameworks, such as the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and DOLS.
- Knowledge of regulatory, legislative, and compliance requirements.
- Strong statistical skills to analyze complex data.
- Valid driving license and access to a car.
