Are you passionate about Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and committed to enhancing the quality of care for individuals with complex needs? We are a leading care group with 23 homes across the UK, dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centred support to all residents. We are seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to empower our teams with the knowledge and skills to implement effective PBS strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging PBS training programs to colleagues across our care homes.
  • Supporting teams in implementing least-restrictive, person-centred approaches to behaviour management.
  • Ensuring compliance with best practices, regulations, and ethical standards in behaviour support.
  • Collaborating with care teams, managers, and external professionals to enhance service quality.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training, adapting content to meet evolving needs.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Positive Behaviour Support training within a care or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of PBS frameworks, behaviour analysis, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and person-centred care.
  • Relevant qualifications in PBS, psychology, adult social care, or a related field.
  • The ability to travel to all 23 care homes across regions including North East, West Yorkshire, North West, and Midlands.
