Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum and 5% Bonus

Location: Bradford, BD4 6SE

Full Time, Permanent position

Job Description: As the Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the full operational and financial delivery of Integrated Facilities Management services - primarily soft and catering services - at a key client site. You will lead a high-performing team to ensure contractual, statutory, and client-specific requirements are consistently met and exceeded. Acting as the primary Sodexo representative on-site, you will manage daily service delivery, foster client relationships, drive operational excellence, and support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily delivery of scoped services (soft & catering) ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Motivate, manage, and develop an effective site-based team; ensure all personnel are trained and competent.
  • Act as the primary client contact for all services, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental (HSE), food safety, and legislative requirements.
  • Monitor and manage site budgets, labour tracking, and operational expenditure in line with financial targets.
  • Identify and implement innovative service improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support the Account Manager in delivering strategic and client-specific objectives.
  • Conduct formal monthly reviews with the client and ensure positive audit outcomes.
  • Ensure performance management systems are used to assess and drive team excellence.
  • Manage HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, absence, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records using Sodexo systems (SAP, UDC, etc.).
Key Deliverables / Accountabilities
  • Achievement of financial targets including full budget ownership and cost management.
  • Compliance with Sodexo and client HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
  • High levels of client satisfaction through effective relationship management and service delivery.
  • Continuous people development and team engagement.
  • Support organic business growth and operational development initiatives.
  • High performance on internal and external audit scores.
Experience & Knowledge
  • Proven operational management experience in a similar Facilities Management environment.
  • Experience in soft services and catering delivery within a standards/compliance-driven organisation.
  • Background in managing multi-disciplinary teams and service contracts.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Experience working with performance management systems and budget accountability.
Skills & Qualifications
  • IOSH Health & Safety qualification (or equivalent).
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong financial acumen; ability to interpret and act on financial data.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective people management including training, development, and performance management.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovation and change initiatives.
  • Broad understanding of FM commercial models and trends.
