Job summary

River Island Clothing Co., Ltd. is seeking a POS Test Engineer to champion QA in cross-functional teams and drive improvements in testing within a DevOps environment.

Based at our Head Office in West London, you will plan, define and execute testing across project deliveries, triage issues, and ensure quality through automation and collaboration with developers. You will bring extensive agile QA experience, automation skills, and hands-on testing across enterprise web applications and databases,

Qualifications

• Experience with agile QA practices and test-driven development.
• Ability to plan, execute and validate tests across functional, non-functional, regression, integration and UAT.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and test automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, acceptance criteria, and ensure verifiability.
• Embed as tester in a scrum team and contribute to sprint planning.
• Champion shift-left testing and perform appropriate test levels.
• Automate tests where cost-effective and document defects clearly.
• Support business users during user acceptance testing.
