JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a leading Interpreting and Translation Company in the UK providing face-to-face and remote interpreting services for Hospitals, Councils, Insurance Companies, and other public and private sector organizations. We are urgently seeking to fill our Portuguese Interpreter roles in Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Iver, Little Chalfont, Marlow, and surrounding areas.

REQUIREMENTS

• Highly skilled and proficient Portuguese Interpreters located in the specified areas.
• Excellent command of both English and Portuguese, with a good understanding of cultural dynamics and mastery of grammar and word order.
• Wide vocabulary, including idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and quotations.
• Good communication skills: clear enunciation, pronunciation, professional tone.
• Competency in key industries such as Medical, Financial, Insurance, Courts & Tribunals, Police, and Government Agencies, with familiarity of their terminology and procedures.
• Applicants must present a DBS certificate, educational qualifications, two references, and a DPSI or Community Interpreting Certificate.
