THE ROLE
The Portfolio Talent Advisor will own C-level hiring across the firms software portfolio and serve as a strategic partner to investment teams and portfolio leadership. They’ll lead executive search execution, talent diligence for new deals, and ongoing market/talent mapping — all with a deep understanding of the software ecosystem. This role is not just about placing executives; it’s about proactively advising on talent strategy, shaping succession plans, and injecting data and AI into how companies think about leadership.
Compensation: Base/Bonus + Carry
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead 10–15 C-level executive searches annually across the portfolio
Conduct talent due diligence for new investments, delivering insights that inform deal decisions
Build and maintain exclusive talent pools of high-performing software leaders
Serve as a trusted talent advisor to portfolio leadership and deal teams
Partner with search firms, own end-to-end process delivery, and ensure data quality and reporting
Leverage AI and analytics to improve candidate sourcing, assessment, and pipeline insights
Drive proactive succession planning, onboarding, and market intelligence initiatives
