Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking a portfolio management strategist responsible for delivering underwriting performance projections and supporting the portfolio management process. You will collaborate with Pricing, Insight, and Finance teams to shape forecasting assumptions and value-based retention initiatives.

The role requires leadership experience within Pricing, Underwriting or Finance, and a deep understanding of PMI market dynamics and regulatory context.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in producing underwriting projections feeding planning and forecasting.
• Experience leading Pricing, Underwriting or Finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of PMI market dynamics and regulatory context.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable forecasting assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Produce projections of underwriting performance, feeding into Finance teams planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Pricing and Insight teams to agree strategic plan and forecasting assumptions.
• Support the Portfolio Management process, producing analysis and material for Company requirements.
• Ensure value-based retention incentives are in place and rolled out to frontline teams.
• Provide coaching and development for Pricing, Underwriting or Finance teams.
