Innovation is the biggest growth lever in the Nomad Foods Strategic Plan over the next 3 years. Joining us as the Portfolio Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be part of Nomad Foods’ Global Portfolio Team, responsible for segment portfolio strategy, building commercially viable Innovation & Renovation Pipeline, and ensuring our markets have clear Blueprints with how to win plans across all Must Win Battles (MWBs).

About The Role…

Reporting to the Head of Segment as the Portfolio Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be part of a central cross-functional team, working closely with marketing colleagues across 22 European locations. You will be part of the Nomad Foods Group Portfolio Team, responsible for winning with our Food Quadrant of the Flywheel.

  • Understand the category vision and key drivers for segment and brand growth; build clear sell-in strategies for innovation and renovation aligned with this vision to support market execution.
  • Apply principles of portfolio management, space & place to support MUs in identifying opportunities for NPD.
  • Draw inspiration from the broader food market beyond the immediate frozen category and lead the team to incorporate these insights into strategies and plans.
  • Lead innovation and renovation work streams within a cross-functional team.
  • Possess a strong understanding of consumer validation methodology, data interpretation, insights, and making informed recommendations.
  • Understand the One Nomad Innovation Process and Stage Gate process; lead workshops and mobilize teams behind workstreams.

About you…

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Brand Manager with a background in a similar Commercial/Marketing role within an FMCG branded business, ideally in food. You’re a strong communicator, capable of collaborating and influencing stakeholders to achieve goals. We value results-oriented individuals who embrace learning, bring positive energy, and combine initiative with teamwork and collaboration.

  • Successfully led product innovation development, preferably in a category-led organization.
  • Demonstrated strong influencing and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience working across different countries and with diverse nationalities is a plus.
