Barings is seeking a motivated individual to join our Global Public Delivery team in London, overseeing public accounts managed by Barings (~$406bn* in AUM). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of financial professionals dedicated to client interests and operational excellence.

Job Details

Primary Responsibilities

The candidate will support core processes including:

• Portfolio Oversight and Fund Accounting: Assisting the Global High Yield team with daily oversight, NAV processing, reconciliation, and reporting for various funds and managed accounts.
• Supporting traders and portfolio managers, overseeing cash management, and resolving operational issues.
• Maintaining awareness of client mandates, regulatory restrictions, and processing fund expenses.

Additional responsibilities involve liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers, interpreting legal documents, supporting monthly and quarterly processes, and helping implement global operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or equivalent.
• Proactive with strong analytical and relationship-building skills.
• Experience analyzing returns and valuation movements.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Accounting experience and advanced Excel skills are required; familiarity with Aladdin and PowerBI is a plus.
