Our client, a leading organisation in the Financial Services & Investments sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Portfolio Manager to join their team for a 12-month contract.

Role Overview:

As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a vital role in the UK discretionary offering, primarily managing client portfolios to achieve their investment objectives. Your expertise will help shape the investment experience for clients, and you will work closely with Relationship Managers and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Manage portfolios in alignment with the investment strategy to meet client objectives.
  • Execute investment decisions and manage cash & currency effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with Relationship Managers to enhance the discretionary proposition and promote internal referrals.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and advisors through meetings and strategic updates.

Business Management:

  • Collaborate within the framework of the organisation's investment process.
  • Contribute to growth initiatives across various mandates and play a role in investment meetings and reviews.
  • Monitor securities and restrictions within portfolios continuously.

Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management:

  • Adhere strictly to local and global regulatory standards, focusing on the UK and Global risk framework.
  • Support the business in maintaining compliance with laws and internal procedures.
What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: CISI Level 4 Investment Advice or equivalent is required.

Experience: Strong background in portfolio management with a client-centric approach.
