Overview:
A prestigious global commercial real estate loan services firm is seeking an experienced, dynamic leader to join their team.
You will oversee a diverse portfolio of CRE warehouse loans and loan‑on‑loan structures secured by UK and European real estate investments and developments. This role emphasizes robust portfolio management, strict compliance oversight, and efficient coordination of loan servicing operations while serving as the single point of escalation for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of asset managers responsible for the operational administration of the CRE loan portfolio.
• Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for client queries and internal workflow issues, ensuring seamless coordination across functions.
• Take an active role in any complex positions
Operational Oversight & Reporting:
• Oversee the aggregation, analysis, and validation of portfolio data to ensure that all loan performance metrics and compliance standards are met.
• Review finance documents from pre‑closing through the entire loan lifecycle in collaboration with legal, asset management, and origination teams.
• Develop, refine, and manage reporting templates to deliver clear, accurate, and timely internal and external reports, ensuring high-quality control and accountability.
Risk & Compliance Coordination:
• Evaluate and validate waiver and modification requests, supporting the underwriting process by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Monitor adherence to credit covenants and ensure that any deviations are addressed promptly in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in CRE loan management or a related finance role with a strong operational and reporting focus.
• Solid working knowledge of finance fundamentals, credit covenants, and back leverage concepts.
• Proven leadership in managing teams and coordinating complex operational workflows.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review large datasets, spot anomalies, and communicate complex financial data clearly.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
