- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
- Provide professional advice to clients on accounting and finance-related matters.
- Supervise and support junior team members in their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
- Report on portfolio performance and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
Profile
A Successful Portfolio Manager Should Have
- A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Previous experience managing client portfolios within the business services industry.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Confidence in supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car (transport) due to location of offices.
