Job summary

Synapri seeks a Portfolio Manager to lead the UK change portfolio, guiding enterprise-wide governance, standards and reporting to ensure delivery aligns with strategic objectives. You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive meaningful business outcomes across multiple initiatives.

You will oversee PMO functions, governance, financials, benefits and risk management, while building capability across business and technology change programs.

Job description

My client who are leaders in their field are looking for a Portfolio Manager who will be responsible for leading the UK change portfolio overseeing enterprise-wide change governance, standards and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and govern the UK change portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy, priorities and delivery objectives.
• Oversee portfolio governance, reporting, financials, benefits, risks, resources and interdependencies.
• Manage the PMO, providing accurate executive reporting and ensuring compliance with UK and European governance standards.
• Oversee multiple business and technology change initiatives from initiation through to operational transition.
• Own and improve Project Management and Business Analysis standards, resource deployment, capability development and delivery practices.

Key Experience & Skills

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide change portfolios and establishing effective PMO functions within business and technology environments.
• Strong background in project and portfolio management, delivering multiple application, infrastructure and business change initiatives.
• Expertise in portfolio governance, PPM tools, financial planning, benefits management, resource allocation and vendor management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive reporting skills, with experience operating in matrix-managed environments.
• Demonstrable people leadership, Business Analysis expertise and a strong understanding of change management, governance frameworks and organisational transformation.
