This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a successful growth equity investor as a Portfolio Finance Lead with FP&A expertise, during a significant growth phase. The position involves financial analysis, cash management, and commercial finance support across the portfolio, partnering with finance teams to establish strong financial controls and KPI management. Additionally, it supports investment processes through financial due diligence on acquisitions and managing vendor relationships.

What the job involves
  • Partnering with portfolio company CFOs and finance teams to navigate scale-up challenges and implement best practices.
  • Collaborating with transaction leads and portfolio executives to develop KPI reporting and internal metrics.
  • Ensuring growth plans include appropriate capital allocations for portfolio finance development.
  • Analyzing portfolio finance controls and supporting their implementation and growth.
  • Conducting financial analyses to identify strengths and opportunities within new assets.
  • Monitoring financial statements proactively to drive necessary changes.
  • Overseeing cash levels and planning for portfolio companies.
  • Managing internal reporting frameworks and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintaining accurate financial data within internal databases and coordinating with external providers.
  • Enhancing management information to support value creation strategies.
  • Ensuring smooth onboarding and system integration for new portfolio finance teams.
