Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Professional to join our leadership team overseeing 13 of our New Zealand Hotels, reporting directly to the Portfolio General Manager.

As a Portfolio Director of Finance, you will be based in Auckland and play a key role in overseeing the financial health of our diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.

Keys duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide financial leadership and oversee all facets of finance for the portfolio of Hotels & Finance teams
• Ensure timely and accurate production of financial reports, data and P&L
• Complete Monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Drive Team Member Engagement and promote a positive team culture
• Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the profitability
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Deal with Management Agreements and ownerscorporation matters
• Meeting external audit and tax reporting requirements

Qualifications

• You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in financial management
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation for payroll, tax, superannuation, and compliance
• Proficiency with all Microsoft programs, SUN system and Opera
• A leadership style that is authentic and engaging
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Full working rights in New Zealand
