Job description

Our Client, a market leading provider of Asset Based Lending solutions, requires a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and charismatic business professional to join their expanding Portfolio team in the Midlands.

Reporting to the company’s regional office in Birmingham City Centre, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a small, high value portfolio of high value corporate relationships based throughout the Midlands region. Typical facility sizes will range from £2 Million to £20 Million and incorporate a full ABL product suite.

Key areas of responsibility will include the following:

  • Primary responsibility for the portfolio of clients.
  • Balanced client service, retention, income generation & risk management.
  • Ensure detailed operational and relationship excellence is adhered to.
  • Provide client service support and full transparency on account activity.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and a dedication to precision and execution

The successful candidate will be able to display an in-depth working knowledge of commercial lending in the corporate space, ideally within Receivables Finance and/or Asset Based Lending. In addition a high level of financial acumen is required, plus a track record of developing and maintaining relationships at board level.

You will need to be a self-starter, highly motivated team player and be able to match the organisation’s appetite for growth whilst sharing its risk philosophy in a highly competitive business environment.
