Job description

This is an exciting time of change for the RNLI. We are embarking on several organisation-wide change programmes that will improve the experience of our volunteers, supporters, and our people. This presents an opportunity for you to help us define and shape a new and improved approach to change management at the RNLI. We need you to help us understand what good change management looks like - from initial inception through to making sure change has been embedded appropriately. We'll be looking for your energy and passion for change to help us shift to this new approach.

Role: Portfolio Change Manager

You will lead the planning, development, and implementation of change management strategies and plans. Supported by colleagues in the central portfolio office, you will engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and support for change initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Experience with established change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
  • Significant experience working within a change portfolio environment, ideally with exposure to both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in technology-enabled and business change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is desirable but not essential; relevant experience is also valued.
