Portfolio Associate (Financial Institution Finance)
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is "Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow" in Asia and beyond—focusing on infrastructure with sustainability at its core. AIIB's Portfolio Management Department (PMD) is responsible for monitoring AIIB's rapidly growing investment portfolio, which includes loans and equity investments with or without sovereign guarantees. PMD assists management and project teams to ensure portfolio quality. Main functions include monitoring the entire Investment Operations (IO) portfolio, managing non-sovereign-backed financing assets, coordinating IT system design and implementation, and providing Secretariat services to the Investment Committee.
PMD is recruiting a Portfolio Associate for its Project & Asset Management (PAM) function. The Associate, reporting to a Senior Portfolio Officer (SPO), will analyze the Bank's loans, bonds, guarantees, and risk participation facilities within the Financial Institution (FI) lending portfolio, including banks and non-bank financial institutions, with or without sovereign guarantees. The role focuses on monitoring to ensure portfolio quality, providing analysis, and delivering analytical outputs to support strategic development impact and financial sustainability.
