American International Group, Inc. is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Actuary in London to support the UK Profit Centre with granular performance monitoring and portfolio optimization across UK and international workstreams.

You will interact with senior management and mentor junior team members while coordinating pricing and reserving analyses, regulatory responses and budget reviews. AIG emphasises in-office collaboration and professional development within a diverse culture.

Competenze

• Degree in Mathematics or related discipline.
• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary.
• Proven proficiency in actuarial pricing concepts/methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Provide actuarial support to the UK Profit Centre to grow and remediate where needed.
• Support development, alignment and execution of portfolio strategies with home and regional teams.
• Contribute to Monthly and Quarterly Business Review processes and key MI requests.
• Coordinate actuarial analysis across pricing and reserving functions including growth and remediation.
• Review annual Underwriting and Reinsurance Opinions on premium sufficiency.
• Coordinate international loss ratio planning with other actuarial teams.
• Support budget reviews of UK loss ratios and ad hoc analyses.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members and mentor the team.
