A leading insurance organization is seeking a Portfolio Analyst for a 10-month fixed-term contract to facilitate and manage change initiatives within its Change and Transformation team. This pivotal role requires strong stakeholder engagement, delivery management skills, and a deep understanding of change management methodologies. The successful candidate will oversee the portfolio action log and ensure the smooth operation of change projects while supporting cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years’ experience within project environments, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of delivery and change management methodologies.
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement and able to influence and build relationships.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our established Change and Transformation team within a leading insurance organisation. This is a pivotal role, taking ownership of the day-to-day management and maintenance of a newly established portfolio of change initiatives, including both in-flight and pipeline projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of processes and protocols to ensure the smooth operation of the change portfolio.
  • Facilitate monthly governance meetings, preparing materials and recording actions to maintain accountability.
  • Act as a key point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, troubleshooting issues and driving best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers navigating the change framework.
  • Manage the portfolio action log, ensuring actions are tracked and delivered.
  • Oversee data capture and reporting of portfolio performance in close partnership with Project Managers.
  • Support the wider Change team on ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as required.

About You:

  • Over 5 years’ experience within project environments, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of delivery and change management methodologies.
  • Strong planning and control skills, with a track record of driving standards and behaviours.
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement, able to influence and build relationships.
  • Diligent, resilient, and committed to high-quality delivery.
  • Desirable: exposure to the London insurance market.
